So it's been awhile since my last post. But that is definitely not due to a lack of activities and things to blog about. It's blame can be put on a lack of time, sleep and a change of priority to blog immediately following an event. Who has time for that anymore? Since the birth of my 5th, I've learned that 5 is REALLY so much more than 4. Priorities shift, and you learn to choose your battles. And you learn that life doesn't slow down just because you have a baby. Life goes on with all the hustle and bustle that accompany our kids and us adults. That certainly has been true this last couple of weeks. The kids have all been busy. And with a newborn it has been difficult to keep up, but we've done our best. Here are a few of our families latest activities:Mason graduated from Pre-School. I may have missed it, but the rest of the family and grandparents were there. He has had so much fun this year with Miss Kymm. But he is really excited and ready to start Kindergarten this Fall!
Emma had her dance recital. I missed that as well. (It's hard to get out with a week old baby.) But I got to see her dance at a later performance.
She did great! She loves her teacher Shana and loves to perform.
Katelyn has also decided to go with a more low-maintenance approach this summer with braids. One of her friend's moms was kind enough to take 5 hours to braid her hair for her. Wow! But she loves them and we'll see how long they last.
This past week I also made a trip to St. George for the funeral of my uncle. It was very sad, but it was also really nice to see a bunch of family and old friends I haven't seen in years. Here is a picture of me and my sisters and cousins. I was lucky to grow up just down the street from cousins and it was good to see them all.
And here is me and my sisters and brother. It was really great to see everyone.
As if I didn't have enough going on with softball, t-ball and everything else in full swing, why not throw in some tennis lessons for the girls.
The girls have been participating in a free tennis clinic the past couple of days. And they have really enjoyed it. Especially Emma. Which really surprises me because she's usually my less athletic one. But she's totally into it and wants some more lessons. Check out that swing! Katelyn reminded me of Venus Williams with the braids out on the court. It was pretty cute.
Then there's my little lovebug Landon. Who has kept me the MOST busy. He's so sweet and we just love him to pieces. Although he keeps me up all hours of the night, he has been such a fun addition to our home.

May is crazy enough and then to add a new baby I give you major props! I want to get my boys going on tennis someday. Glad your girls love it...let Mason play soon!
I enjoyed all the cute pictures of your family. I'm so sorry to hear about your Uncle, but I'm glad you were able to spend some time with your family.
I love the cute little picture of Landon. I can't wait to meet him. We'll see you in a couple of weeks.
Just reading your post makes me tired. I can't imagine having 5 children. You are wonder woman! If you ever need someone to cuddle that little one our home is open!
Wow! It has been forever since I updated my blog and I only have 3 children :)
I know of some inexpensive tennis lessons for kids. Give me a call.
