This year for Spring Break, instead of going somewhere warm and sunny, we did something a little different....we headed north. Instead of leaving the cold and snow behind, we headed toward even more cold and more snow....Island Park. I've learned that it really doesn't matter where you go, as long as you get out of the house, you're together, and you're having fun. And that's just what we did. We stayed in Josh's parent's condo and we had a great time. Josh's sisters came up as well, so the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins. Here are a few things that kept us busy....
Staying up late with movies and treats and camping out on family room floor in sleeping bags...

Card games that went late into the night...
We had sooooo much fun on the grandpa's 4-wheeler....
And you HAVE to have hot cocoa after playing in the snow....
The kids spent endless hours swimming...
And we even managed to squeeze in making some Easter cupcakes, sugar cookies and decorated Easter eggs....
We had such a great time and it was a much needed break for all of us!

Wow, how in the world do you have the energy to keep up a schedule like that? Looks like too much fun even if "Spring Break" was spent playing in the snow!
