The Results Are In...

Over 68% of you voted that we were having another BOY--and you were all RIGHT!!!! I am in a state of shock and complete bliss! As you all know I went in yesterday for my ultrasound. They decided to go ahead an do my full ultrasound and check everything. Thank heavens everything looked normal and healthy. We did have to close our eyes when she got anywhere near the "area" which was a difficult thing to do. But we followed through with our plan and the ultrasound tech wrote down the sex in an envelope enclosed with a picture of the "area". We did go home with lots of precious pictures of his profile. I was convinced that the baby looked just like Riley, so I thought it had to be a girl. Josh thought it looked just like Mason so he was pretty convinced it was boy. Christmas morning after the last present had been unwrapped, it was time to open our Christmas envelope. (Which we have the whole scene on video tape by the way.) We all gathered on the floor by the tree and I opened the envelope and saw the words, "Congratulations! It's a Boy!" with an ultrasound picture of the "boy part". (It's definitely a boy!) I screamed and cried and announced the news to everyone else. It was the best Christmas present ever. I don't think I realized just how much I really wanted another little boy. I'm especially happy for Mason. It was so fun to later call all of our family and tell them the news. This was definitely a Christmas that our family will never forget.
