Josh has been in California since Monday for work, came home late Wednesday night, and had to go to Twin Falls first thing Thursday morning. So he asked me if I wanted to go to Twin with him. Hmmmm....okay! So I got my nieces lined up to stay with the kids for the 2 days. It worked out great and it was fun for the kids to have their cousins here to play with.
We left Thursday morning and I tagged a long while he worked for a bit. 
Then we went to lunch at Jakers. Yum, so good! Then Josh told me that he had a surprise and that he was taking me to the Twin Falls Temple Open House. I was so excited. But one problem...I didn't have a dress. 
I know you don't have to have one for the open house, but it would just feel weird not wearing one in the temple. So there was really only one thing I could do...go shopping. So I got a new dress and I was ready to go. The temple was so beautiful with such a sweet spirit about it. We've decided we're taking the kids next week to go through it. 
The rest of the day was filled with some more light shopping, eating out, going to the movies and just enjoying one another's company. It doesn't take much for me to recharge, come home happy and ready to get back to the daily grind.

Sounds like a fun trip. Thats great that you were able to take a trip with just the 2 of you. Its even better when you know your kids are having just as much fun.
What a great surprise...and a great reason to go shopping!
Sounds like a great time and a little make-up for him being gone on your birthday! Maybe when we get moved back to Burley, you can come visit us when Josh has to be in Twin.
